What to expect

Your first appointment, step by step.

No surprises, no pressure — just a clear picture of where your mouth stands and what, if anything, needs doing.

1. Check in

Hand us your completed paperwork and insurance card. We verify your benefits so you know where you stand before treatment.

2. Exam & X‑rays

A full new patient exam — teeth, gums, bite and soft tissue — plus any imaging needed to see what's below the surface.

3. Your plan

We walk you through what we found, what's urgent versus what can wait, and what it will cost — in plain language.

4. Next visit

Cleaning, treatment or simply a six‑month recall — we schedule it before you leave so it doesn't slip.

Insurance & payment

Accepting most insurance plans.

We accept most insurance plans, and we have options for patients without insurance. Call the office with your card in hand and we'll verify your benefits before your visit.

  • Benefits verified before treatment — no guessing
  • Uninsured? Ask about our options for self‑pay patients
  • Special dental financing available through CareCredit
New patient FAQ

Before you come in.

How early should I arrive?

If you've completed your paperwork at home, arriving 5–10 minutes early is plenty. If you need to fill it out here, give yourself about 15 minutes.

Can my whole family be seen the same day?

Often, yes — with eight operatories we can frequently schedule family members back to back. Mention it when you call and we'll do our best to line it up.

Do you see children?

We do. We're a family practice and we see patients of every age, including a child's very first visit.

I'm nervous about the dentist. What can you do?

Tell us — genuinely, tell us at check‑in. We built this office to be low‑stress on purpose, we go at your pace, and we explain everything before we do it. Many of our patients came to us after years of avoiding dental care.

I have a dental emergency. What now?

Call the office at 601-656-3275 as early in the day as you can. We'll advise you over the phone and get you seen as quickly as we're able.

How do I transfer records from my old dentist?

Let us know who you saw previously and we can request your records and X‑rays. Bringing recent X‑rays with you can also save a step.
